National Day Celebration -2010 (Sunday, August 15, 2010 / 8:38 AM)
I am too lazy to blog the whole process of NDP. Anyway, as Singaporeans or Permanent Residents here, you guys should know the basics. There is a marching of the 30 contingents, singing of the National Anthem, reciting the pledge, the parachutists' (Red Lion) display, The aerial display when all different types of planes will soar in the sky to wow the spectators, gun salute, the mobile display of the different tanks or vehicles they use in times of war, performances and lastly, FIREWORKS!
HAHA. I think this year's National Day is just fine. I prefer the one last year. I love the National Day theme song though. It is composed and sung by Corrine May, Song for Singapore. The fireworks display is way better. They have extra additions like the crescent moon with five stars fireworks.
The performances were cool and I like Mr Lee Hsien Loong, the Prime Minister because of his smiling face! He keeps smiling although he is old and he's the most cherry Prime Minister in the world so far. Tehee.
Sorry but I can't upload the pictures because the file size is too large. If you wanna see the photos, feel free to see it through my Facebook account under 'Who Says National Day Ain't Fun?'.
