I was also frustrated, like infuriated, at my parents. Can't they just give freedom like my friends have? That's the disadvantage of having Malaysian parents. I guess it's the culture.

For the early morning session, during the Uniformed Groups: Girls' Brigade, Boys' Brigade, NPCC and Girls' Guide. display of marching with the raising of the flags (this year is pretty cool in the sense that instead of the flags being pulled up to the poles by hand. The flags are practically flying. It just reminds me of the big flag that is always flown on the big helicopter across the sky during NDPs. How did they do it?

They attached a string from the school block to the hall block so they can pull the string and attach it onto the pole. Ain't that fascinating?) and band playing, I was with Joreen. Talking with her and practically remaining kinda calm, considering that I did not have the guts to face my besties.

After that, we went back to class to write down our reflections on National Day which Li Tong and my notes turned out to be pasted on the wall at our school wall near the general office. Then, we started work. I helped out Zainab to make our class National Day flag by using red coloured papers and white paint with some black spray paint to make the 3D effect. I had my face painted with 'I ♥ SG' and fringe sprayed with red too. I simply love red! I wanna get one of those hair sprays. It is just so awesome. After a while, Li Tong came to help us out and that was when I realised that I was getting along well with Li Tong already except Rasinah but after like a few minutes, she called us to help her to paint the 'mane of the lion', which was made of strips of newspaper. All of us, Faith2-2ers, worked extremely hard and I guess that's the reason we won the Most Patriotic Class Award and Best Mascot Competition for the Sec Twos category. I least expected our class but am very glad that we had achieved the best. We were very supportive towards each other, I dare say.

We went to the Indoor Stadium to have some Singsparation and the celebration of National Day by having the Best Mascot Competition and singing Singapore National Day songs. Our class were constantly waving the National flag and supporting our mascots. Some of the other classes' mascots were pretty cute and funny. I disliked the singing of National Day songs part. Well, Li Tong and I did sing along but Aisha's singing dampened our moods. First, she thought she is Miley Cyrus is it? She has to drown the other two singers' voices and only focus on her own voice which was unfortunately, very terrible that day. Secondly, the type of clothing she was wearing was slutty! Lastly, we hate her. She's so bitchy. ARGH!

We got our goodie bags from the prizes we had won and went back to class to have a class photo taken before clearing the mess we have made. I took some pictures with my besties and classmates.

I called my mother to see whether I could go out for lunch with my besties at KFC Bugis and she said yes. So, I followed them there and eat, bought the September issue of J14 magazine and just hanging out with them for a little while before going home. I wanted to buy Meet Bill DVD but I did not have enough money. I am broke.

I wished I could have stayed longer with them. Rasinah said things were fun. Haizzz... I wanna be free like a bird!
