The New School Term is Pretty Exciting and Stressful! (Saturday, July 10, 2010 / 5:44 PM)
I know. It's been the second week of the new school term, Term 3, and yet I didn't blog any single thing on it, not even on my first day of school! Hah!
As you know, I am now a student councilor. That means more work for me to do in school! Not much freedom too because as a role model, I should not do anything silly and naughty. I have to behave well and try not to be in any kind of trouble. I become more 'unentertaining', according to what Rasinah had said because I don't have much to talk to her and entertain her. I feel bad, knowing that I become more anti-social and quiet sometimes. My inner-power of charisma is GONE!
Since I have to do my duties in the morning, I can't be spending much time with my besties anymore. That's the disadvantage. I can't get to talk during assembly or crack some silly lame jokes with them. That's just awful. All I do every morning is commanding the late-comers which kinda suck because I can't get to attend morning assembly and listen to devotions.
As you know, the Student Councilor Investiture is also coming soon. All the committees are busy preparing for it.
Youth Day was this week, which falls on the 5th of July, Monday, making it a long weekend. I spent my time in IKEA and studying.
Basically, my whole life now is STUDYING, COMMANDING, HANGING OUT WITH FRIENDS, USING THE COMPUTER, READING STORY BOOKS, LISTENING TO MUSIC, ATTENDING TUITIONS AND HIGHER MALAY CLASSES.
The whole Secondary 2 Express Class went to Science Centre on the 6th of July for an Earth & Space Science Fiesta where we had some fun looking at the experiments at the first session but had a super boring one at the second session when everyone almost fell asleep! The workshop is telling you more about the Earth and Space and also on the natural disasters on Earth.
Yesterday, since we had some time before our CCA, my besties: Kathy, Li Tong, Rasinah, and I went to Bugis to take some neo-prints. It was superb considering me as a first-timer. Before that, we went to Rasinah's house because she wanted to get a jacket for the neo-print to cover up her P.E. T-shirt. The rest of us took our own clothes to change at Bugis. We were treated like princesses thanks to Rasinah's Mom! She is so KIND to us! She offered us lots of food to eat like chocolates and yoghurts.
The first Higher Malay lesson was fine. I had an incredible wacky time with Ayuni, a.k.a Ms Peace. One bad thing was we had to copy loads of notes on tips of writing an Expository Essay. My hands ached and I used a total of five foolscap papers! Can you imagine how many words have we written! Haiz...
I went for my Dental Appointment today and guess what?! Dr Loh, my orthodontist, asked me to form a Bermuda Triangle on my braces using a rubber this time to bind my teeth together! ZOMG! The feeling is worst than anything I have ever felt! It is so excruciating painful. I can't eat at all. Although it is just the first day, I am sick of all the soft food: yoghurt, porridge and banana, I have eaten so far. I have to endure this for another few weeks! ARGHHHH! Stupid tooth! Why can't it just grow faster?
Anyways, I love Maths more in school now because Ms Wendy Wong is our new teacher! This is so much better than Mr James Lim! She teaches so efficiently and with such expertise! Furthermore, I don't have to see Mrs Tan for so many times because now, SEL is taken over by Ms Haryati! Who is so hilarious!
That's all for these two weeks I guess. I am watching Despicable Me in 3D at Cathay Cinema, Dhoby Ghout tomorrow! Yahooo! His birthday is tomorrow so my parents and I are going to celebrate it later somewhere. Tehee.
