Exhilarating and Most Coolest Outing! (Sunday, March 7, 2010 / 8:57 PM)
Well, the title says it all. Seriously, today's outing was fantastic! Still don't know what am I referring to? Today, the 7th of March 2010, I went out with best friends, Li Tong, Rasinah, Deborah and Rui Lin for a shopping and relaxation trip. We went to shop at Bugis Junction before going to Orchard Road, to shop at Wisma Atria, ION Orchard, Takashimaya and Paragon.
We first met each other at Bugis MRT station. Then, we split up to eat our brunch. Li Tong, Deborah and Rui Lin ate at Yoshinoya, a Japanese fast food restaurant, which is not halal. Then Rasinah and I paired up to eat at Swensons. Since Rasinah is a Muslim, I decided to follow her and eat. Besides Swensons, the other shops which are halal are only McDonalds and KFC. We didn't want to eat anymore of those oily and fattening food so we decided to eat something else.
Rasinah and I ordered french fries. I ordered myself a pasta dish while she ordered a plate of baked rice. We chatted and laughed so much that we delayed our time in the restaurant. Li Tong kept on calling us to hurry but we still didn't care! LOL. When we meet up with Li Tong again, we realised that Rui Lin and Deborah have gone to watch Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. So, we continued on to shop and loiter around Bugis Junction. Li Tong bought some necessities which she needed for her Drama Hong Kong trip. Rasinah bought herself a few hairbands, eye-liner and a t-shirt. Currently, I still haven't spend on anything.
We met up with Rui Lin and Deborah again after their show before taking the MRT to Orchard. We went to Takashimaya first as we wanted to go and see some stuff and Rasinah needed to buy a pen for her father's birthday present. Next, we went to Kinokuniya. Then, we headed to Paragon. I bought myself a CD, Glee Season One Volume Two soundtrack while Rasinah bought herself two CDs, Marie Digby's and Demi Lovato's. Before going to Takashimaya and Wisma Atria again, I bought myself an iPod Shuffle which cost me $118? I bought the blue one. It is so small and cute!
After that, Deborah went to meet with her family so we split up again. The rest of us went to Takashimaya and Wisma Atria for some window-shopping before going to ION Orchard to eat our tea at Swensons (again). This time round, we ate together with Deborah joining us later. I ate strawberry cranberry yoghurt, Li Tong ate french fries, Rui Lin ate the sticky chocolate... (I forgotten the name. Oops!) and Rasinah ordered a nutty Sundae. We chatted a lot and I love this period as we got to bond our friendship.
After eating our tea, we headed back home.
I hope there will be more outings like this soon.
