Wait a minute... Did I mention the word 'chaotic'? Yeah, you heard that right. On Friday, 5th February, some of my best pals and I got into a 'quarrel'. Well, will talk about it later. Now, I am going to blog on my week according to the days.
Monday was a pretty interesting day as I had History lesson. I simply love HISTORY! Besides that, I had Higher Malay classes after school and guess what? My teacher's not here again! Yeah! So, we only did an essay about dialogue. Then that's it for the day! Ain't that amazing? Once we finished that, we can do whatever we want. So, I was like revising for my Maths test the next day and explaining some questions about Direct Proportion to Aqilah. I went for my piano lesson soon after that.
Tuesday was not OK. I had my Maths test. It was easy but I was not really sure of doing the bonus question given. After Maths, I had P.E. That's when I had a 'fight' with Li Tong. Everyone knows that Li Tong is short-tempered. What made her so angry was this. That day, we had P.E. lesson. Then our P.E. teacher asked us to do the high jump. Well, OK. My pals and I did the first two jumps as the pole was within our height so we could jump over. But, as the pole goes higher and higher, Rasinah and I were too timid to jump over as we were afraid that we would be mocked and laughed at if we landed on our backs out of the provided mattress. So, we were just standing a side and just watched everyone did the high jump. Li Tong was then telling teacher that Rasinah and I did not do the high jump. Deborah and Rui Lin were supporting her too so I was feeling pissed off. I was like "Hey! You can't just ask a person to do whatever you ask. You can't force a person to do something." Since we did not jump, Li Tong was frustrated with us and started a quarrel that lasted till Science lesson. After Science lesson, we were in good terms again. LOL. Ain't that funny? For your information, we got back to terms like only less than an hour? LMAO. I am happy that we get to be good friends again at such a short period of time. We had Self-Study on that day. Hence, we were given loads of homework. Li Tong and I went through the Science worksheet together while we did the Maths assignment on our own. It was a hectic day.
Wednesday was super FUN! I had my Literature test on 'Kevin'. It was 25 minutes long and it only has three questions! CO_OL right? I hope I can get high marks for this. I love Wednesdays because I have POP Vocals and Drama! Besides, I don't have Maths lesson on that day too! Woot! I love Maths but the teacher sucks so I ended up hating Maths in school but I LOVE MATHS at home and during Maths tuition with Mdm Yo. This was our second lesson of POP Vocals and we were needed to sing some part of 'Love Story' by Taylor Swift in front of our members! I was like so panicky that my voice sucks and I could feel myself trying to catch my breath. Sarah, our instructor asked me to sing at a higher tone but my voice was all along low-pitched. When I tried to follow her instructions to sing higher, I realised that my tone was so terrible. Yet, she told me that I sang well! ROFL. What's wrong with her or me?
Nothing much happened on Thursday besides having late assemblies which I LOVE! I also got back my Maths results and I scored 20/20 = 100% ! Yeah! Though I should have gotten 21/20.
Oh ya, did I mention that my pals and I, which includes Li Tong, Rasinah, Rui Lin, Deborah, Kylie and Kathy, started having our breakfast and lunch in class nowadays as Rasinah and I are often so busy dancing to the songs that we like. I don't know why we started this but I guess it's because of our success in dancing to 'Tik Tok' by Ke$ha. We danced to 'Blah Blah Blah' by Ke$ha feat. 3OH!3, 'Good Girls Go Bad' by Cobra Starship feat. Leighton Meester and 'Somebody to Love' by Leighton Meester feat. Robin Thicke. Unfortunately, all these dance steps were not as funny as 'Tik Tok'.
Friday. Fabulous but turned chaotic. The lessons were awesome on that day. Everything turned out fine except Maths because Mr Lim doesn't know how to teach again. His explanation in Algebra was so confusing that I could see stars circling around my head. After school, Rasinah, Kathy, Kylie and I waited for Li Tong's Higher Chinese class to finish before walking to McDonalds. We had such a peaceful and marvelous time there. We ate and chatted merrily and I saw another friend of mine from another class but she's from drama, Joreen, with her friends. So, we decided to walk back to school with her too. We thought we were late for POP Vocals so we rushed up to the Music Room. Then, we saw that Sarah was not there yet. So, Li Tong and Joreen went to play the piano while Rasinah and I practised our new 'Tik Tok' dance move. By the way, Rasinah and I are taking part in the Easter day Performance or something like that. Therefore, we are practising very hard to get through the auditions. After Sarah came, we sang the completed song of 'Love Story' before going for Drama.
Here is where the chaos started. Ms Jean, our Drama instructor selected a few of us to act in a play that will be acted during Arts Nite. So, me and Kathy were chosen among my pals. I was happy and I did not expect to be selected. We were chosen to act as assassins. Then, Ms Jean called the rest of the people to go home except for the cast, which includes me. So, my pals all went home first. Kathy and I need to stay back a while longer to discuss about the costumes needed for the two gangs: Black and blue. Ours is black, the evil one... GO BLACK! After all that, Kathy and I shared an umbrella and ran to the MRT station because it was raining like cats and dogs! It was so heavy that I was drenched and soaked to the bones! Even my school bag, shoes, socks and books in my bag are wet! If only I had my raincoat on and my boots worn, I would so enjoy myself under the rain. It would be a fun experience.
We took the MRT together before departing each other. Since my place so far from Aljunied, I whipped out my phone and started smsing Rasinah to ask her how was the Sec One Orientation in Drama just now. One thing I realised during the orientation with the Sec Ones was that there are more male members than female members this year and some of them are very emo. or too hyper.
Then, she replied me the most horrifying sms I have ever received. She said that Kylie and herself are jealous of me because I got to perform on stage so soon. That really made me sad as I thought friends are meant to support each other no matter the circumstances and be happy for he/she. Instead, they got jealous instead. What the Heck is wrong with these people? So, what if I got selected to act as a character in Drama? As a friend, you should feel happy for me. Not jealous!
I have been in good terms with Rasinah already but not with Kylie. I wish our friendship will not end as we have been such good friends. We can't just let jealousy get in the way.We must try to conquer it!
Yesterday, I was 'chionging' on my Home Economics Coursework and I finally finished it. So happy. My parents and I went to Chinatown to see the Chinese New Year decor. Wee, it was not as appealing as last year. It made me disappointed as I thought it should get better each year, like the Christmas decor in Orchard Road.
That's all for today. Gotta get some sleep! I do hope Kylie will not be jealous of me anymore.
