Chinese New Year Day and First Day of School after a Five Day Break (Wednesday, February 17, 2010 / 11:00 PM)

Well, as I have mentioned earlier. I will promise you all that I will blog about my Chinese New Year celebration as soon as possible and here I am! Using the time when I can sleep comfortably in my bed! Count yourself fortunate!
On the first day of Chinese New Year, 14th of February (the same day as Valentine's Day), I woke up very early to wished everyone in the house 'Gong Xi Fa Cai!' LOL. I am not kidding. Then, my Mom gave me an ang pow first. Then. my Kai-Ma and then my Grandma. Hahas. I am so rich now! Muahahaha! That's not all. After collecting 'my ang pows', I watched Sing to the Dawn on Disney Channel. I have read the book before and I just wanted to watch and see for myself how different can the story and the movie be. Seriously, it has a whole lot of difference! It's like TOTALLY not from the book! I played with Katelyn for a while after watching the movie before eating lunch.
Since it was the first day of Chinese New Year, Katelyn and her parents went out to visit their other friends while my parents and I went to Sunway Pyramid to do some shopping! I finally bought the whole series of the Percy Jackson books and the Glee Music Season One Soundtrack! It was the best the of my life! I had everything I wanted!
Party time was the best. There were loads of delicious food prepared by my Grandma and since it was the first day of Chinese New Year, everyone was expected to bring some food for pot luck. Hehee. So, I ate like the whole time that day, ranging from laksa to pasta to fried rice. Yumm! Then, we watched G-Force before playing fire crackers. It was fun but my Grandma go burnt by it. So sad. I took a picture with my long-distant cousin who is currently a columnist in The Straits Times Singapore Edition! Isn't that great?! I love all his columns! They are so interesting and funny. Then, the party came to an end, and I realised that I have more ang pows than this morning! wakakakaka!
Monday was the day I went home to Singapore. So, I ate breakfast and said our last good-byes to my relatives before driving home. I did nothing much on that day except cleaning, tidying up and sorting out things in my room.
Tuesday was kinda sucky as I need to study for my History and Higher Malay test the following day. So, I studied like the whole day until it was dinner time. My parents and I went to Cocoa at Takashimaya to eat steamboat. Wow. It was so tasty! I find food as a passion of mine. Hahaa because I LOVE FOOD!
Today, I went to school, like duh... School has already started, unlike Malaysia! So UNFAIR!!! I kinda missed my besties so it wasn't so bad. Li Tong got herself a new pair of geeky glasses during the Chinese New Year school celebration day with Rasinah also buying herself a pair of new pink sunglasses. They look so cool! I tried wearing Li Tong's geeky glasses and that's how I look in the picture above. Please comment OK? LMAO. My History test was fine and my Higher Malay test was OK but as for the Perebahasa Quiz... I am dumbfounded after looking through the questions. I guess I will flunk in that paper. *sob* The most idiotic thing was my Higher Malay teacher wanted us to sit another two more tests for next week! Another of composition and summary! I was like "What the F***!" Does she want to kill us?
Whatever it is, I gotta buck up and study hard because my common tests are starting from next Thursday! Damn!
Oh ya, before I end of today's post. Just wanna say that RASINAH'S CHEESECAKE CREATION ROCKS! She let me tried hers this morning and I tell you, if the cake would have been frozen and still intact, the cake will taste so much better! Anyways, her cheesecake is great! I think she deserves a 3.5/5. I could have given her 4.5 but the cake melted and uhhh. The digestive biscuits she used as the base tasted like stone. ROFL. The pictures of the cake has been taken by Rasinah herself. Will post the pictures later.
That's all. Ending my blog entry for now. Good night!
