Mother's Day (Sunday, May 10, 2009 / 4:50 PM)
Today is Mother's Day. Unfortunately, I celebrated with my mom and dad one day in advance. Anyways, it is a good sign too coz if we celebrate today... I tell you, all the restaurants in Singapore will be jammed-packed! Seriously. My family and I went to Dempsey Hill yesterday night for Mother's Day dinner. It was such a lovely place that I have fallen in love with it... The setting just reminds me of my holiday in Perth, Australia... There were loads of people. Most of them are couples... Haiz... Just reminds me of Valentine's Day but it is not. It is just a day before Mother's Day!
Then, we went to a restaurant named CA* Califonia. It's a nice area for a romantic dinner. (cough, cough!) I think I am a bit too serious here... LOLS! The food there was awesome and lip-smacking! We ate pizza, pasta, salad, ice-cream and cakes. We drank a nice warm cup of coffee and enjoy the music that was being sung... S-W-E-E-T! The cakes were cute and beautifully-decorated. The ice-creams are from Ben & Jerry! How cool is that?! I truly recommend you to this restaurant. Moms and families will love this. Good service, good food and nice people. Just like in the USA...
Without further ado, want to wish all the mothers out there a HAPPY, BLESSED, FUN FILLED AND LOVELY, MEMORABLE Mother's Day!!! Thanks for everything you have sacrificed, helped and love me, Mom!!!
