The Secondary One School Posting (Sunday, January 11, 2009 / 4:26 PM)
This day could not be forgotten. On the 18th of December 2008, it was the release of the secondary one posting. As you may know that my PSLE results are out and now I am going to continue on my learning journey ahead of me. I had an aggregate score of 228. It is an average score but I felt that I have done my best in less than two years of study in Singapore. Here are the list of secondaryschools that I want to go to (in order):1) Paya Lebar Methodist School2) Geylang Methodist School3) Tanjong Katong Girls' School4) Dunman Secondary School5) Temasek Secondary School6) Ngee Ann Secondary SchoolThese are my choices. I have waited patiently for this day. Afraid that none of the school will accept into one of the schools above. God has answered my prayer because on the 18th of December at 7.15a.m., my mum received a sms by MOE(Ministry of Education) saying that I am going to Geylang Methodist School! I was excited because that is a very good school to me. The next day, I went to the school and registered myself. I was in the second class out of five in the express course! So happy!!! I was like a fish out of water when all the secondary ones went into their respective classes. I thought I was the only Haig Girls' in the school. Fortunately, one of my schoolmate, Rui Lin, was there... Waving at me excitedly. I think I am really lucky. Now, I am studying in the school. Good school, dedicated teachers, friendly friends and cool school facilities.Nowadays, I am very busy... So readers... Please do mind. I may not write as many entries any more but I will try my best to write at least two blog entries during the weekends. Got to go now, Ciao! Wish me luck in my studies and hope I can be a prefect there!
