Bangkok...A paradise for shoppers!!! Shop! Shop!! Shop!!! (Wednesday, December 17, 2008 / 5:16 PM)
Sawadee-ka from Bangkok, Thailand!!! As the title says, seriously, Bamgkok is a place where shoppers tend to go to... Especially someone like me. I am a shopaholic like my parents. I think I have inherited their genes. HAHA... Just kidding! OK, stop about all these junks and start the topic!
I just came back from my holidays (Bangkok, Bali, Kuala Lumpur and Malacca). In Singapore, we are now having the year end holidays, the, longest holiday of the year! It lasts for more than a month. This time is a great time for locals to take a break from their work and go for holidays or students having a month of freedom from schoolwork, homework, strict teachers, tests and exams. For me, I am a student.
My dad went on a business trip to Bangkok. Hence, since the release of my PSLE results are not out yet, my mum and I decided to go to Bangkok to meet my dad. The main purpose? We wanted to go there and SHOP! HAHA! That's the answer! LOLs... If you don't know what that means... It means laugh out loud. My mum and I went there on the 12th of November 2008 and went back to Singapore on the 16th of November 2008. The food there (Thai food) are awesome and spectacular!!! It is a mixture of spicy, sour and sweet. The things there are cheap too. Bangkok has a large variety of items that we cannot get here even in other countries. Chatuchak weekend market is the famous day market in Bangkok. It is a must to go there. It is only open during the weekends. Duh! That is why it is named.
I love Bangkok but there is still a slight hatred towards it. First, it is VERY DIRTY! Second, it is unsafe, VERY DANGEROUS! Lastly, Thai eats disgusting food such as fried insects!!! YUCK! EEW!!! All in all, I still love Singapore. Singapore ROCKS and RULE the WORLD!!!
