September Holidays 2010 (Sunday, September 19, 2010 / 2:15 AM)

I do admit that I had a remarkable and spectacular time in Penang, practically being a baby-sitter (I played and watched movies with Ashley for her entertainment and to feel myself being a young child again) for 24/7 and a greedy hawker food eater (I have eaten everything I wanted except Char Koay Kak!).
I spent most of my time playing with Ashley and Zoe, Aunty Alicia's kids, because my parents and I stayed at her house. That's why I can hardly use Facebook to chat with Rasinah or other people 'cause I am so damn occupied with playing with Ashley! Besides that, I followed my parents to run some important errands, eat hawker food and spend time with my cousins and friends!
The most special thing was when I spent time with my three favourite cousins: Jia Wei, Kelly and Mei Yen. Mei Yen is leaving for London to continue on her Biomedical Sciences in an university after obtaining a scholarship. I feel happy for her 'cause she deserves it. She is very smart, like seriously. She does not need to study that much as she has a photographic memory. We celebrated two days of the five days I was in Penang to spend cousins' bonding time and we had fun chatting. I now feel so sad that she won't be in Penang anymore if I go back there for my vacation after October. Nonetheless, there is something called Skype and Email-ing!
The other special thing was that I attended my parents' friend's wedding with Aunty Alicia and her family too because they used to be colleagues. Ashley got to be the flower-girl and she was so professional at it! HAHA!
The main reason why my parents and I went back to Penang was to celebrate Zoe's first birthday bash. Like come on, we are her god-parents or god-sister anyway! Tehee. She is now a big girl now and she looks so chubby and adorable! She loves eating. She seemed to really enjoy her birthday party that we have put up for her. That's a great thing!
The rest of the time during my Penang trip was spent visiting my Mom's friends.
I really enjoyed my trip though there were some dislikes especially the radio stations in Malaysia.
You know what? I think the Malays in Malaysia are going insane! No offence but even a word like 'God' or 'cigarette' must be censored on the radio stations. I am so damn frustrated when suddenly a word gets censored off while I know the lyrics and I was singing it! UGH!
That's all for this trip. Will update my blog again soon on this week's first week of the new, last, school term.
PhotoWORKS! (Tuesday, September 7, 2010 / 9:19 AM)

Call me being obsessive. Yes, I definitely am. I think this was inspired by Rasinah's obsession with Jeffrey Lightfoot that she even loves editing his pics. Whatever it is, here are some of the photos I have edited pictures of Darren Choy and myself. Two of Darren's photos are specially done by Rasinah for me. (The one which had a grey border and the one in blue as the background) Zainab also helped me edit one pic which shows him as the main attention as the background is black and white.
I now love making edits on pictures especially with all the latest photography downloads applications on my iPod Touch! AWESOME!

I admit all the student councilors did a good job in ushering all the Methodist schools' teachers to our school. We did our best and I guess all the teachers felt welcomed.
Of course, some of them were just darn irritating and bossy. I was in charge of front entrance duty along with Geek Lan, Yi Huay, Sabita and Shiying. We had to practically smile and greet the teachers all the time because teachers don't usually come individually. They come in packs or let's just say, swarm and I ain't kidding.
I had to practically strain my cheek muscles and smile at them all day from 2-4.30p.m. I had to even use so much of my saliva to greet them and guess what I received back from some teachers? NOTHING! They did not even utter a greeting or smile back. If I have the chance to speak to them like rudely, I will be like, "Hello? I am human too OK? I have feelings and I am super pissed with you now. Don't you have a mouth? God gave you a mouth to converse and smile. And now all that I have received is nothing but just your solemn faces." I seriously don't mind doing my ushering duties well but the matter is, those teachers are just damn frustrating. If they don't want to greet back, they could at least smile, right? Smiling affects a person, it makes oneself and others happy. It is an act of kindness. According to a philosopher or scientist whatsoever, smiling is better than frowning because you don't have to strain much of your muscles. Ain't that better?
Nonetheless, I find most of the teachers are nice. Although they looked stress and tired, they managed to greet a 'good afternoon' and smile weakly. AT LEAST IT'S BETTER THAN NOTHING! YAY! THAT really brightened my mood!
Basically for my friends and I, we have to usher the teachers to different venues according to what teaching department they are in or dietary requirements they have.
After our duties, Ting Ting, Geek Lan, Yi Huay, Esther, Sabita, Shiying and several other people went over to the primary school for tea-break. I drank like a horse! I have never been so thirsty before! The food provided is quite good too. Like come on, I can't complain, they were so kind o give us a tea-break from our duties!
Then, Ting Ting and I went around the school to take several photographs. I dare say, the primary school's environment is so much better than in Haig Girls'! No offence... But seriously. IT IS COOL.
We went back to the secondary school and went back to the primary school again with Deborah this time because she wants to catch a glimpse of her primary school inside. She wanted to find her teachers but they were having lessons so we ended up loitering around the primary school.
Ting Ting and Deborah stayed behind in the secondary school to do more ushering duties while I went to find Joreen and we walked back to the MRT Station together. Joreen and I were like so hyper especially her. Joreen had BIEBERFEVER that day as when we were singing to Justin Bieber's 'Baby' (I know... Joreen won't ever get sick of it!), Joreen was pretending to be in part of the 'music video'. She was constantly acting cheezy and super fanatic at the mention of Justin Bieber like seriously.
I went home after that and it was officially the start of my school holidays. And yea. I am going to Penang, Malaysia, again for the holidays. Sigh... I will miss my besties and Singapore very much.
